Cocktail Duo

Cocktail Duo – Guitar and Flute / Sax playing live cocktail music.The Cocktail Duo plays a mix of Jazz, Standards & Classic tracks on the guitar and flute or sax. Ideally suited for a champagne receptions at a wedding, they offer a cocktail experience i.e. they enhance the atmosphere but are not intrusive which is important for that part of the wedding day. The musicians that make up the cocktail duo are professional and highly experienced having played around the world and are highly respected in the jazz field. Generally, they will play up to 90 minutes with a short break to rest the fingers and mouth! Venues include: Babington House, Cowley Manor, Ston Easton, Hunstrete House, Glastonbury Festival.
Love Train

Lovetrain are the kings of Disco, on a mission to make every night a Saturday night! Strutting tall in their shimmering white strides, Lovetrain dazzle fun-hungry fans with their soaring vocal harmonies and party pumping bass lines. With razor sharp renditions of the funkiest hits from the 70’s and 80’s these guys guarantee to blow the dance floor into an explosion of hip swinging hysteria. Their commitment to entertain is second to none and from the 5 piece band up to the 12 piece extravaganza! their live performances leave crowds panting for more. We have worked with them a few times and they give a great show.
The Crooner

Joe Jones is a highly experienced and dynamic performer, equally happy with his band in a theatre or in an intimate solo setting at a wedding or party. He has an amazing rapport with the audience and a repertoire that spans four decades and incorporates the best of Swing, Jazz Pop and Soul with a hats off to Rock and Roll. Joe's musical and social ability crosses all boundaries and always sets a fabulous tone for any event. Works very well during a wedding breakfast or early evening as a solo performer, or, with his 5 piece band for an evening set.If you book Joe, you will not be disappointed. Felix the Percussionist

Felix Gibbons - Percussion A percussionist hits things to make a sound. Felix is very good at hitting things, particularly bongos, drums & cowbells! Working alongside a DJ on decks he brings a live aspect to a normal DJ set. Having a percussionist play with a DJ is something that your guests will enjoy and remember for along time. Especially if Felix wears his fine selection of hats.
Joe Stilgoe Trio

The Joe Stilgoe Trio are a funky take on the Jazz three piece. They have recently played at the BBC jazz club, The Generations Jazz Festival , Blackheath Concert Halls and The Stables, Wavendon. As a solo artiste, Joe has been resident at The Groucho Club, The Bluebird, The Dorchester and The Melia White House and has played in venues including The Royal Festival Hall, Pizza On The Park, Pizza Express, The Spice of Life, Café Royal and at Ronnie Scott's last summer with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. He had the great pleasure of singing and playing with John Dankworth's band for Radio 2's Live At The Stables series in April last year. They play a mix of upbeat, fun jazz and Joe tweaks the lyrics to suit the situation, a good, fun trio that don't take themselves to seriously - a bit like us!
Chris the Sax

Chris is a Sax player extraordinaire. Ideal for playing alongside a DJ, he can jam along to Disco, Soul, Motown, House, Funk, Reggae and Jazz. A lovely fella that enters into the spirit of the occasion and really enjoys himself.
Beatles Tribute Band

An excellent Beatles tribute band that will please both the older and younger guests at your wedding. A five piece, Sgt Pepper's Only Dart Board Band is renowned for their storming live shows. The band, with their own Fab Four plus Sgt Pepper on keyboards, perform the most complex Beatles songs completely live and without the use of backing tracks. Creating a faithful reproduction of the Fab Four's greatest hits and selection of well known album tracks, the guys in their full Pepper regalia, produce a tight and compact sound guaranteed to give a splendid time to all. On Saturday 8th August,they were booked by the British Beatles Fan Club to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the iconic album cover, by walking across the Abbey Road zebra crossing, in appropriate costume, before an audience of tourists and press. The day finished with a full performance by the band including many favourite tracks from “Abbey Road” at Peter Parker’s Rock’n’Roll Club in London’s Covent Garden.
The Pianist
Simon is a freelance pianist that performs in a variety of genres ranging from classical solo recitals to Jazz, Swing and popular music. Simon studied music at undergraduate level gaining a degree majoring in piano performance in 1995. Since then, he has been involved in many projects as a composer/pianist and organist. For solo piano engagements - weddings and other occasions – Simon plays a diverse range of music to compliment the atmosphere, from Scott Joplin, Fats Waller, Nat King Cole, Errol Garner and Gershwin to Dave Brubeck, Beatles, Billy Joel, improvised hip hop and songs from the West End Shows. In short, he has a large repertoire, and is happy to include any personal favourites with a little notice.
P-BUG

The P-BUG is the big buzz in London’s funk world, having blasted onto the scene in November 2008 with a debut sell-out show at London’s Dean St venue Maya.The P-BUG's music takes the sounds of funk, soul, and motown to form the basis of their original tracks. The band are writing for today’s music lovers – it’s edgy yet catchy, artistic yet commercial, all recorded blending old school techniques with modern technology. Imagine the sound of Tower of Power, James Brown, The Meters, and Earth Wind & Fire in one band, and you can imagine the music that the PB Underground are writing for the next decade to enjoy.The band also love to put their own slant on the big hits of the present and past, and so they’ve put down a couple of classics to entice party lovers to hear what the band can do with the songs everyone loves.
Gareth the Trumpet
Gareth is an ex-military guardsman and can play you up the aisle with a large trumpet fanfare - very Charles & Di. His Trumpet collection includes the large fanfare type and the smaller Bugler and Standard types. He will also wear his full military uniform for extra wow factor.
Steel Band
If you want the sound of the Caribbean floating over your wedding, then we have an excellent 4 or 5 piece group that play Soca, Calypso and Salsa. Playing a combination of steel drums and instruments, they are something different to the Harpist or String Quartet and will delight your guests.
