We were recently asked to supply lighting and sound services for a charity event at Babingotn House in Somerset where we are the main suppliers of entertainment and production services at the favourite hang-out for the rich and famous.
Nigella Lawson and Kirsty Young hosted an evening for local based charity Positive Action Against Cancer, the evening raised over £20,000 and involved 180 guests enjoying a Nigella recipe whilst she was grilled or lightly toasted by Kirsty Young!. You can read a full report on the Soho House website. As you can see from the pictures, our lighting helped add another dimension to the evening. Our own Nigel was introduced to Nigella, there was a lot of Ni'ing going on.
We recently displayed the latest in LED furniture at a wedding fair and we were surprised by the interest in it. Shown in the picture is a coffee table, cube, foot-stall, cube with cushion and tub chair. The fantastic thing about this furniture is that it lights up in many colours, so, in a dark room it looks amazing, We are showing the furniture in Blue against a White Drape with LED batons underneath. This was taken in the afternoon and does not show it in all it's glory however, if you have an imagination you can probably appreciate how it will look in a wedding situation where you want a contemporary clubby feel to your party.
